for wedding plannersPlan alongside,
without taking the couple’s pen.

A couple invites you, their wedding planner, with one link. You read their diary, propose changes, and they decide. That is the whole arrangement.

what you see

Their diary, open.

As a planner you open the couple’s workspace as they see it, and you read almost all of it.

  • The days and the day plan: blocks, times, places, who needs to be where, the travel in between.
  • The guest list and the answers per celebration, per household.
  • The wedding team: who is booked, for which day, with the agreements in words.
  • The tasks and the checklists per day.
  • The amounts only when the couple switches on “Share the budget with our planner”.

what you can do

Propose, do not change.

You change nothing directly. On a day, a block, a task or an agreement with the team you write a proposal, and the couple decides.

A proposal is a sentence with structure
This field, from this to that, because. It sits on the object itself as a chip, and on the couple’s first page.
The couple accepts or declines
Accepting applies the change, attributed to you. Declining comes with a line of explanation. The thread stays, on both sides.
Nothing open means: aligned
No open proposals, and both of you see that you agree. That is a fact, not a feeling.

You and the planner agree — nothing open.

how you join

The couple hands you the key.

  1. 1

The couple makes a planner link

In their settings, among the keys to their wedding. One planner per wedding.

  2. 2

    They send it to you

From their own phone, on WhatsApp or by mail. No message goes from us to you.

  3. 3

You open it and sign in

An account is an email address and a password. Then you are on their team, as the planner.

  4. 4

    They can revoke the key

Whenever they want, without asking us. It is their wedding.

You do not create a wedding on a couple’s behalf. Whoever opens the wedding is the couple; you join it.

Send them these words
Hello, I keep your planning in The Wedding Diary. Open your diary, go to Settings → Keys you have given out → Wedding planner and make a key; send me that link. I will then be able to read the days, the wedding team and the tasks, and propose changes for you to approve. I never see your guest list, and amounts only if you share the budget with me.

No invitation yet? Make an account and look around an example wedding first — a real showcase from this product, to read only. Look around an example wedding →

You run the day.
The couple lives it.

what stays private

Three things a planner never sees.

  • The gift settings and what arrives as gifts.
  • The amounts, as long as the couple does not share the budget with you.
  • The guests’ personal links.

what does not exist

No profiles, no directory for planners.

There is no planner profile a couple can find, no directory and no reference vetting. Whether that comes is a decision not yet taken — we would rather write that down than promise it. What does exist is above, and works today.

talk

A planner who does this daily sees more than we do.

Fifteen minutes on what you get from a couple today and what you miss. No pitch: we show you the screen you would be given, and otherwise we listen.

contact

Talk to us about your venue or your couples.

One e-mail is enough. We answer ourselves, usually within four hours — and the example wedding’s read-only link is open, no account needed.
