What The Wedding Diary is, in one page
A diary for one wedding. A page for each celebration, one list of the people you are inviting, and a link for each guest that opens their invitation in their own language. Here is who it is for, who else takes part, and where the free version ends.

In this guide
A diary, with a page for each celebration
When your diary opens, you tell it who you two are and which days your wedding has — a henna night, a civil ceremony, a reception, or a single afternoon. Each day gets its own page: the date and the venue, the run of the day, and the people working on it.
The guest list is one list for all of those days. You put people in as households, and each household is asked to the days you choose — so the aunts can come to the henna night without being counted for the reception, and the colleagues to the reception without hearing about the henna night.

Who it is for
- A wedding with more than one day — each celebration keeps its own guests, its own answers and its own plan, in one diary.
- A wedding in more than one language — every guest can read their invitation in Dutch, English or Turkish, whichever you set for them.
- Families in two countries — the invitation travels as a link, so it reaches an aunt abroad the same way it reaches the neighbours.
- An ordinary one-afternoon wedding — one day, one list and a link for each guest work the same way.
Who takes part
- You two — one of you makes the diary, and the other joins with a key you make on the Settings page. From then on you plan in the same diary.
- A wedding planner — if you work with one, they get a key too. They read your plan and suggest changes; you decide whether a suggestion goes in. Never your guests’ details, and amounts only if you share the budget with them.
- Your wedding team and your venue — each can be handed a read-only link to your days, with their own moments marked as theirs. Never the money, never your guest list.
- Your guests — their own link, four digits, no account. They answer per day for their household, and the answers arrive in your list. What a guest goes through is its own page.

What is free, and what it costs
Planning is never limited. You can put in every day and every name on the free version, and nothing refuses a name while you type. The line is where you approve your invitation in your wedding’s first language, the moment it opens for your guests: the box at the top of this page prints where it stands today, straight from the product.
More guests is the full version, for €99, once, for this wedding — never a subscription. Every celebration stays free. Languages are never part of the price.

Questions
- Is it an app we have to install?
- No. The diary runs in the browser, on a phone and on a laptop, and so does the invitation your guests open. There is nothing to download for you or for them.
- Do our guests need an account?
- No. A guest gets a link, types the last four digits of the mobile number you have for them, and answers. Nobody on the guest side ever makes an account or a password.
- Can a small wedding with one afternoon use it?
- Yes. One day, one list and a link for each guest work exactly the same way, and a wedding that size may fit inside the free version — the box at the top of this page says where the line stands today.
- Who pays, and when?
- Only the couple, once per wedding — when your list is past 100 guests and you approve your invitation in your wedding’s first language, or earlier, from Settings, if you want the full version for the seating plan on paper. Your planner, your venue and your wedding team never pay anything, and neither do your guests.
